INSTRUCTIONS & HEALING PROCESS
***PLEASE READ WHOLE PAGE***

Post treatment care contributes to 70 per cent of the treatments success.
Following careful instructions will give you the best possible results for your skin type and promote good healing.
Day 1
You’ll love your new eyeliner!
Your eyeliner will appear slightly larger than it will heal in just a few days.
This is due to a small amount of swelling that is a normal part of the healing process.
You will have no trouble driving home and going about the rest of your day normally.
Using a fresh Q-Tip and water, lightly wipe over your eyeliner every 30 mins for the first 2 hours,
followed by a light coat of aftercare cream.
After the initial 2 hours, apply the aftercare cream to the tattooed area every hour until bed.
No makeup is to go on or near the eyes for 14 days.
Day 2 - 3
Your colour will darken temporarily and thin scabs will form.
If you should experience swelling, an ice pack may be applied using a thin protective barrier such as a
paper towel. Icing is most effective in the first 24 hours following the procedure.
Sleeping with your head slightly elevated can also reduce any residual swelling. Your eyeliner will feel tight and dry,
but not painful. Using a fresh Q-Tip, apply a light coat of aftercare cream to the tattooed area 3 to 5 times a day. Keep the tattoo moisturised at all times using the aftercare cream for the first 10 - 14 days - thiis will help the tattooed area hold colour and heal evenly.
Day 3 - 14
Your eyeliner will begin flaking until there is no scabbing left. You want to allow healing to shed naturally - DO NOT PICK.
Once all scabbing has finished flaking, it is common for the colour to appear lighter than it will eventually heal.
This lighter colour is only temporary as your freshly healed skin is hiding the true colour underneath.
Over the next 6 to 8 weeks your eyeliner colour will bloom. Using a fresh Q-Tip, apply a light coat of aftercare cream to
the tattooed area 3 to 5 times a day. Keeping the area slightly moist for the first 10 - 14 days will help the tattooed area hold colour and heal evenly.
Day 14
You can start washing your face and hair normally again

Week 6 to 8
At 6 - 8 weeks your eyeliner is fully healed.
It’s now okay for you to come back in for your follow up. Any adjustments such as darkening the colour
or altering the shape can be done at this appointment.
It is normal for the pigment to fade 30-50% within the first two weeks. Whatever colour did not stay will be gone over in your touch up,
remember, this is a minimum two-step procedure!!
TRUST IN THE PROCESS!!!

Remember to schedule a touch up appointment within 1-3 months to
avoid paying an additional touch-up fee.
