3D AREOLA

AFTERCARE

INSTRUCTIONS & HEALING PROCESS
Post-treatment care contributes to 70 per cent of the treatment's success.

Following the instructions will give you the best possible results for your skin type and promote good healing.

Day 1

Continue wearing the pads that were placed on you during your appointment today.

Day 2

Remove these pads first thing in the morning.

If the pads do not fall off on their own, wear them into the shower and allow them to fill with water while gently peeling them off.

In the shower, rinse the tattoos with a gentle soap and warm water. Once out of the shower, pat dry and allow to air dry for no more than 3 to 5 mins.

Use a Q-tip to apply a pea-sized amount of aftercare cream to the tattoo(s) and apply a new, non-stick pad on each area.

You will need a loose fitting bra to hold the pads in place. Wear these pads for 3 days.

Day 3

Repeat the cleaning procedure above on the 3rd day. Wear a new set of pads for another 3 days.

Day 7

On day 7, repeat the cleaning process but do not reapply the pads or cream.

Then, sit topless for 1 hour to allow the skin to completely dry out. After the hour, you may wear a loose fitting bra (no pads, no cream) and get dressed.

During the first week, try not to rub or pick at the tattoo and avoid sweating.

Do not submerge in any type of water for 10 days. i.e. hot tubs, swimming pools, bathtub, oceans etc.

You will have a scab that forms on your Areola's during the first week of healing time. This is very normal. Once scab has fallen off on its own, you may begin applying a gentle lotion to help relieve the dryness that will follow for the next two to three weeks.

Week 6-8

> IMPORTANT PERMANENT MAKEUP CARE <
Avoid sunbathing, solarium, light therapies, chemical peelings, fruit acids, microdermabrasion, and creams that contain regeneration factors.

Always avoid laser treatments (eg. Fraxel Laser, IPL, Pixel, etc.) over the treated area, as this can destroy the pigment and cause burns.

Use of creams, antibiotics and hormonal therapy can lead to faster pigment fading.
